South Carolina Public Railways strives to maintain a standard of excellence that must be upheld by each of our employees, with a major focus on Safety, Efficiency, Customer Service Requirements and Expenses. Service to our customers is our commitment. Each employee is responsible for performing their job in a manner consistent with meeting customer service commitments. Safety is a number one priority for SCPR. We comply with all FRA and OSHA regulations and all of our employees go through a very strict Internal Training program as well as Specialized Craft Training. We strive to empower our employees by providing them with a Safety Suggestion Box and giving them good faith challenges in order to make everyone responsible for their own safety. Our Safety & Operating Rule Book, Internal Policies and Procedures, Specialized Work Manuals, Operations Notices, Bulletins and Directives all contribute to the strict safety standards that SCPR upholds.
